These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Lucy English AI, including the mobile app, related websites, and connected services. By using Lucy, you agree to these Terms.
Lucy English AI is an AI English speaking coach intended to help users practice spoken English through voice turns, transcripts, corrections, improved examples, vocabulary notes, and assistant audio replies.
You may use some features as a guest. Some features, including purchase, restore, and account-bound cloud history, may require account creation. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, upload unlawful or harmful content, or use Lucy in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
You keep ownership of the voice recordings, transcripts, and other content you provide. You grant Lucy the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, and analyze that content to provide the app features, maintain security, and operate the service.
AI-generated transcripts, corrections, explanations, and replies may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for how you use the output.
If Lucy offers paid features, pricing, billing periods, trials, and included features will be shown before purchase. Subscriptions purchased through Apple are billed by Apple. Cancellation, renewal, refunds, and billing management are handled through Apple according to Apple rules and your Apple account settings.
Deleting a Lucy app account does not automatically cancel Apple subscription billing. Manage Apple billing separately through Apple subscriptions.
If account creation is enabled, you can request account deletion inside the app. Deletion removes the Lucy account access and clears active app sessions, subject to records we may need to retain for security, legal, billing, or compliance reasons.
Lucy, including its software, interface, branding, and service content, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will show the current Last Updated date.
